Professor Elisabeth Greif is a legal scholar and lecturer in FAU’s MA Human Rights. She teaches the specialization seminar on gender and human rights in the MA programme. Her own research interests focus on gender and law, anti-discrimination law and history of law.
Elisabeth is an associate professor and deputy head of institute at the Institute for Legal Gender Studies at JKU Linz (Austria). She was a guest professor at the Interdisciplinary Center for European Studies, Europa University Flensburg, visiting scholar at Kent Centre for Law Gender and Sexuality (KCLGS), University of Kent, Canterbury, and visiting scholar at the Centre for Study of Law and Society, UC Berkeley, California.
She has been a board member of the Gender Studies Association Austria and is currently a member of the Austrian Commission for History of Law at the Austrian Academy of Science.
