Esteemed Dutch jurist and international law professor Theo van Boven has donated almost one hundred human rights books from his personal collection to the Human Rights Master programme. Dr. van Boven served as the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Right to Reparation to Victims of Gross Violations of Human Rights and the Special Rapporteur on Torture. He holds several awards and degrees in the field of human rights.
This generous donation is the start of the new human rights library that will be located in the programme’s office in Tennenlohe. Students will be able to use these books to supplement their coursework and conduct research for their papers and theses.
