Petar Ristic

Serbia | Graduated in 2018

Thoughts on the programme: I have chosen the M.A Human Rights programme due to its broad reach- in the sense that it allows its students to comprehend the law, philosophy and politics of international human rights. The institutional support was wonderful and I have had the pleasure to be taught by renowned and tremendously dedicated academics.

Professional background: I have been mostly involved in the field of international criminal and human rights law and have done several internships in Nürnberg and the Hague; however, I have recently switched focus to economic and international trade law. My present goal is to intern at the European Commission and ultimately work in the field of European trade and competition law.

Currently, I am doing my second Masters in European and International Law, specializing in the field of European Economic Law and Foreign Trade Law at the Europa Institut in Saarbrücken. I plan to apply for work in Brussels and the Hague as soon as I finish my studies.
