Judge Bertram Schmitt from the International Criminal Court will give a public lecture on human rights protection and prevention of atrocities through international criminal law. Judge Schmitt is following an invitation from the MA Human Rights and the International Criminal Law Research Unit of the FAU. In addition to first-hand insights into an interesting and topical area of human rights protection, this lecture also provides a unique experience to meet and discuss with a judge of the International Criminal Court.

The lecture will take place in the Wassersaal of the Orangerie on Thursday, 17 May, at 6pm. It will be followed by a chance for discussions as well as a small reception. The venue is wheelchair-accessible.
